How Liberalism Has Failed America

President Trump has found himself under attack from the PC police and the mainstream media for referring to the district of Congressman Elijah Cummings as “a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess.” The President also claimed that “no human being would want to live there.” His critics tried to paint him as a racist, as his tweet directed at the African-American Cummings came just two weeks after suggesting that the four progressive, minorit Democratic Congresswomen known as “the Squad” to “go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came.”   While all four Congresswomen belong to minority groups, only one of them came to the United States from another country (Ilhan Omar).   President Trump’s tweet towards Cummings came as a counterpunch following Cummings’s behavior during a Congressional hearing on the situation at the border. Once Upon a Time in America

The Quentin Tarantino film “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” hit theaters Friday. For the record, I do not plan on seeing it. I found myself disgusted at Tarantino’s anti-police rhetoric , the result of which has reared its ugly head this month in New York City.   I hardly ever go to movie theaters and I hardly watch movies in general anymore.  I have quite an impressive movie collection; a combination of tapes and DVDs.  Unfortunately, I find myself unable to enjoy my collections as much as I want to since my VCR does not work anymore and any replacement would likely have to come in the form of a combined DVD and VCR.  The DVD player works fine, therefore I don’t see the need for buying a new VCR/DVD player combo until the DVD player goes bad. Plus, I eventually discovered that my politics and Hollywood’s poli

America Has Rejected Liberalism

Late last year, I published a blog titled “Myth Busted: Republicans as the Party of the Rich.” The blog featured two tables showing the midterm election results for the 100 wealthiest Congressional districts in the United States and the 100 least affluent Congressional districts in the United States. The tables demonstrated that following the 2018 midterm elections, Democrats represented the overwhelming majority of the 100 wealthiest Congressional districts while the 100 least affluent Congressional districts had about an even mix of Democratic and Republican representatives in Congress. Just last month, I published a blog featuring a chart demonstrating how the explosion in the immigrant population has turned virtually all of America’s 25 largest counties blue. Today, I attempt to merge the two blogs together by presenting the lists of the 100 Congressional districts with the highest share of foreign-born residents and the 100 Congressional districts with the highest share of nativ
