From Trump With Love

As Americans all over the country prepare for Christmas, The White House has promised the American people a very special Christmas present.   President Trump has promised the American people that he would sign the tax reform bill into law before Christmas.   The House has already passed its version; the Senate has yet to vote on its tax bill, which differs slightly from the House version.   Besides the confirmation of Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court and about a dozen lower court judges, the Senate has yet to pass any consequential legislation into law.   Deficit-conscious conservatives, Never Trumpers and moderates threaten the passage of the Senate’s tax bill, which requires 50 votes to pass.   In the event of a 50-50 tie, Vice President Pence will cast the tie-breaking vote.   The Republicans hold 52 Senate seats; therefore they can only afford two Republican defectors unless they manage to get support from a Democratic Senator, a scenario which seems highly unlikely in this hi

2018: A Historic Opportunity to Drain the Swamp

Next year’s midterm elections provide a terrific and historic opportunity to drain the swamp.   Both of the two major political parties have historically low approval ratings and Congress as a whole boasts a whopping 13 percent approval rating, according to the Real Clear Politics average .   Thirty-four members of the House of Representatives, twenty-three Republicans and eleven Democrats, have already announced their retirements and that number will probably grow should the names of the members of Congress who used taxpayer money to pay off people who accused them of sexual misconduct ever become public.     Over in the Senate, Jeff Flake and Bob Corker, two of the most Anti-Trump Republican Senators, have already announced their retirements.   Unfortunately, many of the other Senate Republicans who have stood in the way of repealing and replacing Obamacare do not stand for re-election until 2020 or 2022.   83-year-old Orrin Hatch, the third oldest Senator and the longest-

What I'm Thankful For

In honor of Thanksgiving, I have compiled a list of ten things I am thankful for.   Let’s start out with the elephant in the room:   Donald Trump is President: Every American to the right of Susan Collins should rejoice in the fact that Donald Trump won the 2016 Presidential Election.   Had Hillary won the Presidency, we would be well on our way to the liberal dystopian reality of 9 Ruth Bader Ginsburgs on the Supreme Court who would give the seal of approval to every insane liberal policy that ever came before them.   Hillary and the Democratic Congress that would have likely accompanied her to victory would surely have passed an amnesty bill by now that would ensure Republicans would never win another Presidential election again.   The economy has done quite well in the Trump era, despite the dire predictions of a crippling economic crash that would ruin the American economy should he manage to win the Presidency.             I Graduated from College: Very few people

The Ungrateful Undead: The Rise of Unthankfulness

The media is blasting President Trump for two of his latest tweets.   In the first tweet , the President went after Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch for taking a knee during the American National Anthem but standing for the Mexican national anthem; arguing that the league should have suspended Lynch for the remainder of the season.    The Raiders played against the Patriots in Mexico City Sunday.   Lynch and other SJWs should know that Mexico is a far more corrupt and unjust country than the United States .   But don’t expect them to let the facts get in the way of their Anti-American crusade.   Perhaps Lynch and his fellow anthem protesters could start up a football team in Mexico since they seem to like our neighbor to the south much more than the country that has given them so much opportunity.   That would certainly make NFL sponsors like Papa John’s happy.   The #BoycottNFL movement that began when a series of football players decided to kneel during the National

Cloudy With a Chance of Sexual Assault Allegations

The Congressional Office of Compliance released a stunning report on Thursday detailing the cost and quantity of sexual assault and harassment claims against members of Congress over the past 20 years.   Since FY 1997, more than $17 million of taxpayer money has gone to pay off plaintiffs in more than 250 cases.   Not surprisingly, this document does not list the members of Congress implicated in such scandals; therefore, we the people lack the ability to hold them accountable.            Just like I would really appreciate it if the feminists would pay for their own G.D. birth control, I would really appreciate it if members of Congress would pay for their own G.D. legal settlements.   We could have probably balanced the budget by now if touchy-feely members of Congress had spent their own money to pay off their victims.   It would also certainly help Operation Balance the Budget if members of Congress would pay for their own G.D. healthcare.   Congress has an exemption from

Clinton Stock Going the Way of Enron

In recent weeks, Donna Brazile, former chairwoman of the DNC, and Former Vice President Joe Biden have released books that do not paint the Clintons in a good light.   For years, the right has written these types of books; Ann Coulter’s High Crimes and Misdemeanors: The Case Against Bill Clinton and Peter Schweizer’s Clinton Cash come to mind.   Brazile’s book, Hacks: The Inside Story of the Break-ins and Breakdowns that Put Donald Trump in the White House, confirms what many had already suspected: the DNC had rigged last year's Democratic Presidential Primary in Hillary’s favor.   Brazile released an excerpt from her book in Politico earlier this month.   The excerpt describes how Hillary and the DNC had set up a Joint Fundraising Agreement, where she would have control over the party’s finances, strategy and personnel choices in exchange for “raising money and investing in the DNC.”     Brazile, who managed Al Gore’s 2000 Presidential Campaign, mentioned that candida

Republicans: Don't Compromise Yourselves into Oblivion

Throughout his short-lived Presidential Campaign, Gov. Bobby Jindal (R-LA) lamented the fact that many conservatives feel that they have to “hide their principles” in order to win elections.   I happen to find it even sadder when conservatives continue to “hide their principles” after they have won their elections.     For one thing, Republicans appear to have completely lost confidence in the idea of free-market healthcare reform.   They tried passing a “skinny repeal” in order to appease the Moderate Republicans; that didn’t work.   A majority of Republicans could not even agree on a clean repeal of Obamacare despite the fact that nearly all of them had voted in favor of it when they knew President Obama would veto it.   When they actually had a chance to axe the healthcare law and provide relief to millions of Americans, they chickened out.   On Capitol Hell (sic), Republicans in both houses of Congress have released their tax reform plans.   Congressional Republicans
