While many in the #NeverTrump movement seem all to eager to engage in perpetual war with Middle Eastern countries as well as Russia, they seem to have finally stumbled upon a war they have no interest in fighting: the culture war. Evangelical writer Ben Howe said just that in an interview with The Atlantic. President Trump has found himself under attack from the PC police and the mainstream media for referring to the district of Congressman Elijah Cummings as “a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess.” The President also claimed that “no human being would want to live there.” His critics tried to paint him as a racist, as his tweet directed at the African-American Cummings came just two weeks after suggesting that the four progressive, minorit Democratic Congresswomen known as “the Squad” to “go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came.”   While all four Congresswomen belong to minority groups, only one of them came to the United States from another country (Ilhan Omar).   President Trump’s tweet towards Cummings came as a counterpunch following Cummings’s behavior during a Congressional hearing on the situation at the border. TV sure has changed a lot in the past six decades. During my parents’ childhood, few television programs existed besides westerns and sitcoms.   Keep in mind that both my parents had one television set despite sharing a house with seven other people.   Most of the sitcoms promoted bourgeois culture, a concept that the post-modernist liberals have done everything to deconstruct and disassemble.   The earliest sitcoms, such as “Leave it to Beaver,” portrayed the nuclear family in a positive light, with a loving, supportive, engaged, and married mother and father committed to teaching their children the difference between right and wrong.   The earliest late night shows had little in common with today’s politically charged late night programming.   A producer for “The Ed Sullivan Show,” a variety show that aired on CBS, ordered The Rolling Stones to change the refrain of “Let’s Spend the Night Together” to “Let’s Spend Some Time Together.”   The Stones...

I know I speak for many when I say I’m glad I’m not in school anymore.   As much as I enjoyed spending 13 years of my life working 6 ½ hour days and enjoying two months off every year, it’s nice to know that I now have the complete freedom to advance conservatism without fear of receiving lower grades than my liberal peers, even if that means working 365 days a year.   For a very long time, conservatives have recognized that a left-wing bias plagues Academia, which has a more enormous influence on the lives of children than ever before as the intact, grounded nuclear family continues to become the exception rather than the rule.   Liberals have spent the past half-century working diligently to remove all references to God from public school.   Apparently fearing that the legislative branch would not graciously pass their anti-God agenda into law, liberals ran to the Courts.   The Warren Court , arguably the most progressive Supreme Court in United States...

At a Press Conference on Thursday, House Speaker Paul Ryan caused many heads to turn when he said , “Baby boomers are retiring.   I did my part but you know we need to have higher birth rates in this country.   Meaning, baby boomers are retiring and we have fewer people following them in the workplace.”   If I had to guess, I would say that the baby boomers in Congress, which increasingly resembles the geriatric ward at an average American hospital, will be the last members of the “Worst Generation” to retire; unless Congress somehow manages to pass term limits.     Ryan illustrated the hard numbers to help make his point.   America faces a 90 percent increase in the retiring population with only a 19 percent increase in the working population.   In other words, the survival of our republic will require people to have more babies.   People like Pat Buchanan have said that for years; it’s nice to see the establishment finally catching on. ...

It takes a lot of courage for those who work in Academia to publish anything that contradicts liberal orthodoxy.   Two law professors recently demonstrated that courage.   Professor Amy Wax of the University of Pennsylvania and Professor Larry Alexander of the University of San Diego made liberals’ heads explode when they published an op-ed in The Philadelphia Inquirer last month titled “Paying the Price for the Breakdown of the Country’s Bourgeois Culture.”   The article argues that many of the country’s social and economic problems, including the opioid crisis, the epidemic of inner city violence, and low labor-force participation, stem from the breakdown of bourgeois culture.     The authors define bourgeois culture as the set of ideas that reigned supreme from the late 1940s until the “cultural revolution” of the 1960s.   These ideas included getting married before having children, respecting authority and avoiding substance abuse and cr...
