The number of House Democrats supporting impeachment has grown exponentially since I first unveiled my encyclopedia of vulnerable pro-impeachment Democrats; specifically, a list of pro-impeachment Democrats who represent districts where Hillary Clinton received less than 50 percent of the vote in the 2016 Presidential Election. I originally organized the encyclopedia alphabetically by the last name of the representatives but I figured it might make more sense to rank them by their vulnerability. First, I want to explain the rationale behind my rankings: Lauren Underwood (IL-14): Underwood narrowly defeated incumbent Republican Randy Hultgren in a district that President Trump carried with a plurality of the vote in 2016. As I mentioned in a previous blog , the left has a special disdain for conservative African-Americans. The same applies to conservative women, especially conservative beauty queens. Remember what Madeleine Albright said: “there’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help each other.” By “help each other,” Albright meant “vote Democratic.” Ten years ago, Miss California USA Carrie Prejean drew the ire of the PC police when she dared to suggest that “marriage should be between a man and a woman” when pressed by openly gay judge Perez Hilton for her views on the hot-button issue of same-sex marriage during the 2009 Miss USA competition. While many in the #NeverTrump movement seem all to eager to engage in perpetual war with Middle Eastern countries as well as Russia, they seem to have finally stumbled upon a war they have no interest in fighting: the culture war. Evangelical writer Ben Howe said just that in an interview with The Atlantic. He told interviewer Emma Green, all too happy to roll out the red carpet for a #Never-Trumper, that “the idea of a culture war has to die.” Howe’s interview with Green focused on his new book, The Immoral Majority, where Howe makes it perfectly clear that he “is angry at evangelicals” because they voted for President Trump “in record numbers.”  Evangelicals who trash other evangelicals receive a hero’s welcome from cable news and the establishment media both online and in print. When MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski go on vacation, it looks like they have another power couple waiting in the wings to guest host: Anthony and Deidre Scaramucci. Most people remember Scaramucci as the short-lived White House Communications Director who lasted only ten days on the job. In spite of his prompt dismissal from the Trump administration, Scaramucci, for the most part, remained a loyal supporter of President Trump; even writing a book painting him in a favorable light called The Blue Collar President. Scaramucci’s wife, Deidre, on the other hand, does not share the same level enthusiasm for the Trump administration. While the two had well-publicized marital troubles , they have reconciled and have hosted a podcast , “Mooch and the Mrs.,” for about a year.
